Project of A Lifetime | Monkey Business Video

Over the years we’ve had a lot of customer want to watch our old video from 2001 Project of A Lifetime. So to all those who’ve wanted to see it here it is. Sit back and enjoy some groundbreaking footage from way back in the day featuring: P.J. Ladd, Chris Cole, Enrique Lorenzo, Aaron Rowe, Robert Lim, Guy Keampfen, Fabrizio Santos, Ryan Gallant, Sven Kilchenmann, Robbie McKinley, Paul Rodriquez.

At the time we made this video most of these team riders were still Am’s which some of them never had full video parts yet. PJ & Ryan mostly still spent most of there time on the East Coast, Sven could hardly speak English and Aaron was on an extended trip to the U.S. rushing to get his part done before he had to go back to Australia.

Monkey Business is proud of what all these guys have done with there careers, we knew it then and it’s even clearer now that this video was truly a Project of A Lifetime to have all these guys in one video at the same time….enjoy…

“I’ve wanted to add a skim program to our brand for years and it was the right time to put it together. Skimboarders always ride skateboards to and from the beach or when there aren’t any waves, so it’s a perfect fit for our brand to develop unique skateboard products for the best skimboards. George is a true legend of the sport, no other person has laid the foundation for the future of skimboarding more than George. There’s no question that skimboarding wouldn’t be what it is today without him and we couldn’t be happier to have him part of our team” says owner Mike Patton.

From pioneering progressive side wave riding to launching 10th St Bros with his brother Bill, together they’ve produced the largest skim video’s on the planet, George has been leading the core skim market for over a decade.

“I am extremely psyched about my boy Geo coming onboard with us at Monkey Business, he and I go way back to the days of link-n-logs. Having Geo in the mix will be huge in solidifying the foundation of our skim program – run by real skimmers for real skimmers. Its on like that!” – Chris Rudolph…

“I am really happy to be part of the Monkey Business team. The company is showing increased support for skimboarding for the right reasons. It is great to work with somebody that understands the importance of creativity, authenticity, and most importantly, good times. My friendship with Monkey Business owner Mike Patton, began in South Laguna during the early nineties. Because of his stoke of skimboarding, he spent his off time filming Chris Rudolph, my brother, and I at 10th Street. This was during it’s heyday and the footage helped shape our first skimboard film, SOULAG. Mike was influential in many aspects of early professional skimboarding and I look forward to working with him, and Monkey Business, in the future.” – George Bryan

Expect to see George’s personal touch in directing the future of our brands skim program around the world.
