The first stop of the Green Eggs & AM skim contest got underway Sunday March 6th at 9th Street in Laguna Beach, CA, to the largest field in the history of the contest. All ages and skill levels showed up to have a fun and relaxed day of friendly competition.

The first heats of the day saw clean, slightly small but fun conditions. saw clean conditions in the first few heats.

Now the this years contest is a three stop Trifecta 9th Street in Laguna Beach, West Street in Laguna Beach and the final stop at Balboa Pier in Newport Beach Steve Taylor and Paulo Prietto has really stepped up this contest series.

Great prizes from Etnies, RVCA, Main Street shop, Exile, and of course we gave out decks again this year. Prizes were giving out to the top 3 places in each division.

See the coverage from the City of Laguna Beach did, great to see the city actually paying attention to the skim community, it’s about time the place where skim-boarding was born gets support from the city.
